As in Heaven Conference 2006
Around 70 people gathered for our first "As in Heaven" conference and we enjoyed three days of worship, teaching, healing and fellowship. Some people came from as far away as Scotland, Ireland and the south coast of England and many more were from the local area. It was wonderful to renew friendship with some who we had not seen for many years and also to meet new friends.
Over the past few years many have been praying and asking God to move in power in the Kirkham area. There have also been prophetic words speaking about the spiritual significance of this area. We believe that God has heard those faithful prayers and that He is about to fulfill the things that He has spoken. During the Wednesday evening meeting we spent time praying for the area and asking God to move in new ways.
On Tuesday evening Dennis Walker gave an introduction to the "spiritual senses" and spoke about how we can hear from heaven and put those things into practice on earth. On Wednesday afternoon Dennis spoke again about overcoming the enemy. In the evening meeting Mike Grimshaw spoke about the outpouring of the spirit prophesied by Joel and experienced first on the day of Pentecost. Mike spoke again on Thursday afternoon on the subject of "taste and see that the Lord is good". During the final meeting on Thursday night Dennis taught that the gifts of the spirit are for today and the evening finished with prayer for the activation of our spiritual senses.

Everyone was blessed and encouraged and many asked when the next conference is going to be held - we hope to announce dates in the near future!
Testimony from Ruth Parkinson
It is with grateful thanks to our Lord for His wonderful healing power and His great love for everyone that I write this testimony. For at least twenty years, I have endured grating (or crunching) in the area of my neck, no matter which direction I moved. It was not always painful, but it was certainly annoying and sometimes the sound was quite loud. I have a sensing that the condition could have arisen from constantly sitting in the same position, typing, in an office from the age of fifteen!
However, when I was at the “As in Heaven" conference at The Boys’ Brigade Residential and Training Centre in Kirkham in March 2006, Dennis Walker from Las Vegas called out during the meeting, “Someone here has a neck problem and the Lord is healing it right now”! I suddenly knew that the Holy Spirit was doing a work in my neck, and Dennis said “Try moving the part that has been troubling you and you will know that the healing has taken place”.
After the preaching, Dennis called various people forward to speak about their healing and I was one of them. I praise God and thank Him with all my heart for complete release from that condition.

The "As in Heaven" conference was strategic for the Fylde Coast. Many prophetic words were given relating to the importance of Kirkham as a spiritual gateway to the Fylde area. The teaching from Mike Grimshaw and Dennis Walker unlocked heaven's doors, bringing fresh revelation concerning heaven on earth.
We witnessed healings and were touched by a powerful move of God's Spirit as many needs were met, including our own. It was good to meet people from other parts of the UK who gathered together for these meetings. We were encouraged to pray for the area and are looking forward to the next conference!
