“...show me now Your way, that I may know You.” (Exodus 33 v 13)

Moses was a man who was not content to be a spectator, he didn't just sit back and watch what God was doing. He wanted more than that, he wanted to know God. Further on in the same chapter of Exodus he says that he is not willing to go anywhere without God's presence and then he asks "show me Your glory". God granted that request and even spoke with Moses "face to face, as a man speaks to his friend".

God is looking for "friends", people who desire His presence and His glory, people who He can share His heart with and who will, in turn, share with others. In 1 Corinthians 3, Paul talks about "God's fellow workers".

"He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel." (Psalm 103 v 7)

The people of Israel were unwilling to come close to God, they saw His acts, the miracles He performed for them but they didn't know His ways.

God is still calling out a holy nation of priests to minister to Him, people who are passionate for His presence. Our prayer is that He will show us His ways as we come and meet together.
