Prophetic Conference 2006
This was our second conference and was a great source of blessing and encouragement to the church here and also to those who attended from other places. We met together with a sense of expectancy and we were not disappointed!
The three speakers, Mike Grimshaw, Wendell McGowan and Dennis Walker brought clear and anointed teaching as they shared with us and we enjoyed times of fun and laughter as well as a few tears.
During the conference many were touched by the Holy Spirit and received healing and release. One evening several people came forward to commit their lives to Jesus.
Throughout the meetings the presence of the Holy Spirit was very evident and there was a strong prophetic anointing. Many received individual words of prophecy which spoke into their circumstances to encourage and build up. On one occasion the warden of the centre told us that he had heard singing during the night when everyone was asleep! Others said that they had heard angelic singing during the meetings!
During our first conference in March there were prophecies regarding the spiritual significance of this area and we heard from a number of local christians who have been praying for revival here in the Fylde. This time God again spoke to us very clearly regarding His purposes for the whole Body of Christ in the area.
We want to give thanks to the Lord for His faithfulness to us. As before there was no charge for attending the conference and as before, all of the expenses were covered. We also want to thank all of those who volunteered to help with the preparation of meals, washing up and all of the other “behind the scenes” jobs, God bless you!

Prophecy for the Fylde
“When revival breaks out on the Fylde Coast you are all going to be very busy, you are all going to need to be in top physical condition, so we had better have healing begin right now for you. It’s going to come on a lot of others and it will be healing of their spirits as well. They will need nurturing and caring and teaching, there is so much opportunity. A lot of times in the past everyone has been fighting over the same few, the same few people, the same areas of ministry, the same small visions that people have carried. Forget about that and begin to get activated because revival is coming to this area and when it hits there will be more than any of you can do. There will be more opportunities for ministry, there will be more opportunities for all the different things that God wants to do and at that day every house of the Lord where His name is truly raised up and is elevated and honoured, those places will be bursting at the seams.
When it breaks loose in this area this is going to be a centre for Europe, people from all over Europe and even other countries and other continents beyond are going to come to catch the fire, they are going to come to catch what God is pouring out in this region. This is a region destined by God to be a distribution centre for the power and anointing of God to be sent to many other places, so get ready!”
This prophecy was brought by Dennis Walker during the Prophetic Conference held in Kirkham during October 2006.

I thank and praise the Lord for bringing me all the way from Cornwall to the conference, it was such a blessing, a very special time, wonderful anointed teaching, lovely fellowship and the worship was “out of this world” - the angels joined with us in praise and adoration, HALLELUJAH!
I was healed and set free from words that had been spoken over me almost seven years ago.
I’m so glad that I came despite having a terrible car crash on my way home and fracturing my sternum but the Lord had His hand upon me and saved me from possible death, He also granted a miraculous recovery – dancing for Him a week later! Praise His lovely name!
Thank you Lord for Your presence with us throughout the conference and for Dennis, Mike & Wendell who were continually listening to You and working together as a team. IT WAS GREAT! Encouraging, uplifting and faith building.

Testimony from Madge Grimes
I was invited to the conference by Bob & Julie Grimshaw and travelled for 12 hours on the bus from Dorset. When I arrived I had a lot of pain in my lower back due to arthritis. On Wednesday I was still in a great deal of pain and was taking pain-killers.
During the evening session Dennis Walker asked if anyone had any pain, I put my hand up. Dennis said “can someone go and pull the legs of the lady at the back!” I laughed as I had a vision of me being pulled around the room by my legs. Charlotte and Jenni each took a leg, my legs felt very heavy to me. Another lady came and put her hand on my knee and they were all praying. My knee started to feel like a hot water bottle or a heat pad had been put on it.
The lady who had her hand on my knee asked if I had any other pain and I replied that I had pain in my back. She put her hands on my back, after a short while my legs began to shake in different directions and the pain went! I discovered that I could do things I couldn’t do before, on Thursday morning I went for a walk – still no pain. On Saturday I had the same trip home, when I got off the bus I nearly ran home with my cases and, praise the Lord, still no pain. It’s been a week now and no pain so God has healed me!
Testimony from Keith & Charlotte Shackleton
We were privileged to lead worship at this conference and enjoyed ministering together with the team from Kirkham Christian Fellowship. There were many occasions of prophetic words and pictures during times of spontaneous worship.
We both received personal words of encouragement that the Lord is stirring up our creativity in music and art which He is going to use for His glory. Keith also had a powerful impartation of the fire of God, which brought a dramatic release!
As with the March conference, this was strategic for the Fylde area, with dynamic preaching and prophetic vision from inspired men of God.
Testimony from Len & Carol Fowler
We were both so blessed by the Lord at the conference. Before the conference we were both feeling quite drained and weary. Although we love serving the Lord in the way we do, we often do things in our own strength and wonder why we feel so weak, this had been happening to both of us. We love running “The Well”, but it had become hard as we had so few helpers and wondered if next year we should give up being the leaders.
We came with faith to the conference and the Lord never let us down, we needed to hear His voice and it was a good time to stop and listen and respond to Him. We decided that it wasn’t time for us to give up and that whatever happened we knew the Lord would help us. We have had five new helpers come to “The Well” and although it’s not every week, it’s a start. Also quite unexpectedly people have started to ask us about the ministry.
We have had some backlash from the enemy – we have had some family problems and also he has tried to come between us, but because of the conference we know from whom the darts are coming and how to deal with them.
